Rim Runs always been a favorite of mine Funny thing about Sugarbush though, I can honestly say that about almost every trail there

5AM report

Hardy is on his way to the top of Mount Ellen to make the call. It looks like we will turn GMX at 9am this morning. We had a good night of snowmaking and the word from the radio is that the powder looks good from Rim Rum down Elbow to Spread Eagle to the base of the Summit Chair. The temps are warming up so we are taking the guns down to make sure we don't spoil the quality and will turn them back on if the temps come down tonight. The forecast for today is sunny and in the 40's. There could be some nice turns and we will get some pics on the web today. I'll have to learn how to post pics on MRV myself.

Winter has begun. Let's hope for a ton a snow and a long season.

Check this out:

As I said the depth is Ok but not great so we may not do a lot of grooming as the temps are forecast to rise tomorrow through Saturday. We are also limiting employee skiing and riding and comp passes from Thursday through Sunday, so that season passholders and paying guests can have the best experience.

Another example of how SB, Win and SV really cares about the customer. Sucks for the SB emplyees and compers, but I applaud this approach.

I don't think there is a ski resort operator on the planet that loves his/her job as much as Win does and that's a good thing, a very good thing. :smile:
