Win is the man. Despite being an ASC whore, I will make the trip to SB at least a couple times this season.
We are officially a go at 9am this morning! Here's to a great winter season! Hope to see all of you on the slopes!
Good news, wish you best of luck for the season Win! How many trails are you planning on having today?
Only Upper Rim Run to Elbow to Spread Eagle to Lower Rim Run, but good quality snow.

Hardy is on his way to the top of Mount Ellen to make the call. It looks like we will turn GMX at 9am this morning. We had a good night of snowmaking and the word from the radio is that the powder looks good from Rim Rum down Elbow to Spread Eagle to the base of the Summit Chair. The temps are warming up so we are taking the guns down to make sure we don't spoil the quality and will turn them back on if the temps come down tonight. The forecast for today is sunny and in the 40's. There could be some nice turns and we will get some pics on the web today. I'll have to learn how to post pics on MRV myself.
Winter has begun. Let's hope for a ton a snow and a long season.
I chuckled to see that Win was up at 3am posting on AZ. I imagine he was like a kid on Christmas morning who was too excited to sleep! Have fun, all!
We better get some trip reports to anyone who is going today...
win said:As I said the depth is Ok but not great so we may not do a lot of grooming as the temps are forecast to rise tomorrow through Saturday. We are also limiting employee skiing and riding and comp passes from Thursday through Sunday, so that season passholders and paying guests can have the best experience.
