I got there at about 8:15 and booted up. I was psyched to start the new season. I was surprised to see the barker quad running so I boarded it. I rode to the top and skied down Jungle road to upper sunday punch. It was soft snow and bumps. Pretty tough for the first run but I made it. I skied down through cfc corner and down cascades. The coverage was great. Next run I got on the Locke Mt. triple and rode that to the top. I couldn't tell if they were loading at the midstation till I rode this lift. They were so the next run I went to the mid station. I hit upper T2 to cfc corner again and met up with Bobr and ConnR. We made a few runs together and it got so busy that we decided to call it. When we left the barker lodge there was a line at the ticket booth of people waiting. That was good to see! Lots of business. Met up with Maineskier69 and had a couple of beers at Bobs condo. It was a good start to the season! WooHoo!!! It looked like they were cranking out the snow on Right Stuff, Sunday Punch, Lazy River, and Risky Business. It looks Good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
