They finally called it that as a separate area. It's Blind Ambition, the entrance off upper Excalibur. That entrance has always been marked double black and it is legit. That part of the Glade is much tighter lines and steeper than the balance of BA.3 trails not on trail map … Boots Off/On are the trails to and from the Jordan Day Parking lot, but what is “Double Blind” ?

Then it’s weird that Blind Ambition is marked closed but Double Blind is not. Oversight I guess. They finally called it that as a separate area. It's Blind Ambition, the entrance off upper Excalibur. Not surprised on Merrill 2. It has its rope on now, but not chairs as of yet. And they were just clearing one of the runs down to its base with tree work (parallels MB Road and appears to split off of Double Refraction). That particular trail is only rough cut, the ground has yet to get stump removal and prep. No sign of snowmaking line yet. Doubt this lift turns this season, pretty sure they just doubled up on Dopp while they were here for B6.SR posted new trail map today, B6 added along with double blind, boots on/off. No Merrill 2 on map.

Yes, up top for sure on Rogue. All of Lolla is good, boots off is thin and rough, boots on not bad. Lower Rogue is a bit thin yet. They have material to push it if they work DH only, otherwise lower Rogue will be push out very thin.Looks awesome. Their gamble paid off, extremely impressive coverage for day 1. Looks like Excalibur can't be too far behind.
Oh yeah! Make snowmaking loud again!SR7 looking its best as always lol.
Both spurs, they intersect the lot at different locations. Both are skiable with minimal skating, typical short green connectors. Is Boots Off + Boots On a loop or are they both spurs? Is it flat AF or skiable?
Best snow on lower Rogue was courtesy of that one lonely gun . Noticed they have added in some SMI sticks. They had a Grizzly on lower Rogue and Grand Avenue/BootsOn/Off are alternating HKD and SMI (guessing a version of FreedomX but the heads only have a single column of nozzles).SR7 looking its best as always lol.
That's good on Kansas because they were still working on Kansas just past Ruby with a heavy excavator Friday.Blowing Kansas to airglow this AM along with spot guns in Jordan. Also a bunch of guns running in the barker/locke area, not sure where specifically. They were able to groom out the brown spots on lollapalooza. Chairs were on barker yesterday with the lift spinning. Bubbles still have the covering.
It is entirely possible I confused air glow with northern lights while driving out to Jordan early this morning. Kansas was definitely seeing a serious effort. As for Cascades, currently standing at bottom waiting for daughter to download, definitely nothing down low. That's good on Kansas because they were still working on Kansas just past Ruby with a heavy excavator Friday.
Skiesta CAM shows snowmaking evidence on Northern Lights, Locke looks like the two upper and Cascades only.
