My friend is heading to Zermatt this friday for 10 days of skiing. The conditions online look good for the area, but I have read that the lower elevation resorts are hurting for lack of snow.

Our trip was through a travel company, and I must say they did a very good job and one hell of a price. We were at Films-Laax Falera. There was another group that went to Davos that we met up with in Zurich on Thurs/Fri. Neither of us complained about the skiing but I think they preferre FLF to Davos.
My friend went to Austria back in December. Two weeks before the trip there was almost no snow in the area. They got DUMPED on right before she got there so she said it turned out to be excellent.
I can't decide which is better, Swiss Alps or Utah Rockies. I have been to both, and speaking STRICTLY on the skiing, I still can't decide.
