I'll ski pretty hard most of the time. When I feel like I don't have the "reserve" power to overcome a mistake or adjust line...that's when I either start "cruising", take a break...or call it.

Dreaded words..."One Last Run". Absolute Jynx!

Last year after running all morning @ Stratton, we stopped for lunch, caught our breath, went back for a few more runs, and started "feeling it". With a three hour drive back, it was time for coffee and hit the bricks.

Same with Cannon/Wildcat.

Who had the Dr Suese quote under their avatar? Don't be sad it's over, be glad it happened. A good mantra. Come back for another day...arrive alive...take your pick.

I used to have that in my sig. And I'm trying hard to live by that in all aspects of my life.
