Heard a Tenney ad today on Boston sports radio. I went to the website but still seems closed

Heard three of them on 98.5 this morning.

The ads were claiming they have SIXTY groomed runs. I had a pass there in 2008 maybe? Decent snow year. I don't recall that many trails and certainly not that many that were groomed.

Also amusing is they have a picture of a high speed quad on their homepage

They definitely have the guns, my question is the pipe and pumps. They had water circulating on that loop before 2020 but there hasn't been anything showing it this season - just a high pressure air test.

Re-Opening this weekend. Lots of video and pics of snowmaking and grooming on FB.

And this, um, sounds interesting:

Kelly has presented computer drawings to Plymouth showing what he’d like to do with the lodge. They include doubling total space, turning walls into glass to let people watch skiers coming down the mountain while sitting around the fire, creating a large ski bridge over current parking to allow new runs to be created, and more – but no detailed plans have been proposed yet, he said.

Bottom of the main web page is a section entitled “recent photos”…….
Though I guess they don’t claim they are recent photos from Tenney.

Rooting for them as this would be great from our house in Plymouth, but will believe when I see.

Nice site overall. Just remove some of the (terrible) stock photos and it will be great. Some of the mountain shots are not of New Hampshire. One page also has a detachable chair pictured. Definitely take that one down! No trail map yet......

That is strange and mildly alarming.

$69 mid-week is a good deal. Never skied Tenney butt have hiked it and the surrounding area. It has a good consistent pitch, and most trails are cut down the fall line.

Using stock photos on the web is not good. I'll take poor marketing and good snow Sunday thru Friday.

I wish them the best. Not a bad drive for me if they can get a run or two consistently off each chair next year.
Short drive from my neck of the woods and you never have to go through the notch. You can avoid bad weather and keep your speed up. He should market this point.

Yep, I hope this guy pulls off the mining / ski dream; pretty ballsey business plan.

Season isn't going to last long if they only made snow halfway up the Eclipse. Ugh.

Hmm, Tenney was another resort built by those pesky 10th Mt people.

Nothing direct. They continue to make snow, but haven't opened the Eclipse yet.

If the forecast next week is anything close to reality, I'll check it out. Maybe twice. It's a smidge closer than WV to my house and I really, really want them to succeed despite their amateur hour appearance of the last couple of years.
