I've not seen this discussed here.

It seems to suggest that the future of the mountain is dependent on financial commitment or a real estate purchase, which then entitle you to lifetime lift access (sound familiar?)

It also seems to have been announced in 2009, but I must have been sleeping.

There was a suggestion in another thread today that Tenny wasn't going to make it.
Do you know more?

If your referencing what I wrote in the Mittersill thread then no I don't. I can only go by the threads I've read here and Snow Journal. I am a nostalga (sp?) freak and as a child poured over maps, topos, and ski brochures (still have many of them) and Ski93 was always one of my favorites. Thats why I am excited to see Mittersill reopened (once again apologies to Rivercoil) as it is the only original area I never skied. I have loved everyone of them and want to see all of them succeed.

Including a phone call which went unanswered, it does not appear that Tenny plans to turn lifts for skiing this winter.

Other than the lifetime membership offer, there isn't a mention of alpine skiing anywhere in that web site. If you click on "home" it goes from Tenneymtn.com to White Mountain Exploration.

Word around town is that the ski area is in foreclosure.

EMS has severed its ties to WME as far as I can tell also.

Bummer, dude.
