What are the best tent sales this fall? Are they really worth going to, or is it mostly junk?

Have you checked REI? Not sure if they have sales right now, but they are usually a good deal and you get dividends back as well

Pedigree ski shops in Stamford, CT and White Plains NY has some really good deals on things like goggles and helmets. More limited selection of skis, boots, jackets, etc.
