Sounds like most of the upper mountain lifts are on wind hold today anyway. Sugarbush is not alone as other resorts are reporting wind holds also.

Too be expected in a nor'easter, just as hiking Castlerock is to SB regulars. keep dumping!!!

Most skiers think when a resort is open 100% that they don't have to hike any terrain. It is kind of deceitful to advertise as 100% open when it really isn't

Brackett Basin at Sugarloaf doesn't even have a lift to open.

Ya,and with that open today they showed over 1000 acres open.Holy crap.We got a whole 47 acres open at Cannon.

47 acres??? Sunday River had that on opening weekend back in early November. I would like to ski Cannon someday, but I will make sure to go late in the season when the natural base is very deep.

I've never been to Sugarbush, but I have a pair of passes for this year. Can't wait to check it out! I've heard great things!

Now the bush is truly, indisputedly (or undisputedly?) 100% open, no wind hold, no hiking (unless you want to count Reverse Traverse closed for racing )
