The Catskills getting zip!!!!!

The Catskills is getting nothing lately. Hunter is reporting zip, zero, nada. And only 48 inches for the season so far. Looks like I'll be sitting on buses and taking some long drives up to Vermont, which is getting the goods. This is getting rough!!!!

26, 28, 36...I don't know...maybe they should just measure snowfall in feet at Whiteface. What's a few inches when you have so much anyways?

With all that they're still blasting the snow guns around the clock.

A MODERATE SNOWFALL OF 3 TO 6 INCHES WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE REGION FROM THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EARLY EVENING. THE HEAVIER SNOW TOTALS WILL OCCUR AT ELEVATIONS GREATER THAN 1000 FEET.

THE SNOW WILL MOVE INTO THE CATSKILLS AROUND NOONTIME. THE SNOW WILL BECOME STEADIER AND HEAVIER IN THE LATE AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING BEFORE TAPERING OFF TO SCATTERED FLURRIES. SNOWFALL RATES MAY EXCEED AN INCH AN HOUR FOR A BRIEF TIME.

LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE EASTWARD NORTH OF THE GREAT LAKES REGION WITH THE SNOW DEVELOPING AHEAD OF ITS WARM FRONT OVER THE OHIO VALLEY AND PENNSYLVANIA. If anyone here skis WINDHAM on WEEKENDS (I have already been there midweek), can you tell me how bad the crowds and wait in the lift line are? .

Just got back from Belleayre. Snowed about 4" by the time I left. Still snowing a little outside here in Halcott, 12 min from mtn. The advisory is stilll up through midnight; hourly forecast at weather.com has snow through 2 AM, then more tomorrow during the day!

Snowed all day at Hunter too. Getting heavier as I left.

Snowed another good 4" - 6" at Belleayre today. Serious, almost blinding snowfall with big flakes around 3-3:30 p.m. Looked like it was stopping around the time I left at 4:00, though. Looked like they got less snow off the mountain, though the roads were still slippery.
