Loved racing down a groomed Anna Purna... Don't get to do that that often.. :)

There are times when the mountain ops folks choosing to burn some diesel in the cats and grooming out a run that rarely gets groomed can make for a really fun experience until the bumps once again reform!

Heck, sometimes the reverse is true as well when the mountain ops folks choose not to burn some diesel on a trail that almost always gets groomed and they let some bumps form!

From what I was told - it needed to be groomed... It was a bit of a mess..
Hope they don't burn diesel now..

The mountain felt uncrowded but at times there were random swarms of people...
I was coming down Clairs and lining up my traverse to the chair and suddenly it was like a movie let out on Wayout.. hahah...

I was just on Wayout and it was empty.. crazy...

Great weekend... On many levels...

I find the bolded to be a much more enjoyable experience than the non-bolded.

Their about to make snow again at Hunter.

Wonder when and if they will sell a spring pass this soon?

Peak Resorts typically doesn't sell a spring pass.

Historically they have been along the lines of starting to sell next seasons passes the 1st week of March or so, and then you can use it the remainder of this season as well as next, and depending on which pass you get, some summer operation privileges are often a part of the pass as well

Just hope they don't turn into another ASC or Intrawest!

I somehow doubt that you'll see Peak Resorts building a Grand Summit like timeshare hotel at all of their resorts like ASC did with theirs!! That building spree combined with some of the ridiculous prices they (ASC) paid for many of the resorts they purchased is what really ultimately doomed them.

While Peak has expanded a bunch, and taken on more debt, they're not nearly in as ugly a financial situation as ASC was

Especially given the stock was down another 10% today, lol. You'd think they'd be concerned with cash herding.
Dividend is ~14.5% on a current share purchase.

On the flip side, maybe they are making snow with the hopes of some cash herding as a result of some extra season passes they may sell, likely starting a week from Saturday, when they traditionally have rolled out their next year's passes as some people who may be on the fence about whether or not to buy a pass from Peak see their commitment to the on hill product, even in a year where mother nature has been very much against them!!

I was kinda of removed from the ASC thing, so this sounds good. The old saying it takes money to make money is so true! (Within reason of course).

Amazing the stock is so low with that dividend. The company isn't going to go bankrupt anytime in the near future. 14.5% is just stupid!
