stop it. just stop it right now.

Look, I am as upset about the weather and as anxious as anyone, but the "winter is cancelled" talk is just too much. I feel your pain. Trust me. I walk into my attic/ski storage/ski tuning shop/ area every night after work and just play around with the sticks. Heck, I even have a brand spanking new set of boards just sitting there waiting for snow. Just got them mounted yesterday. The shop guys thought it was funny that I walked in with 98mm waisted skis when it was 60 degrees out.

So cut out and try to stay positive damn it! We're gonna get PUMMELED this winter.

I gotta stop reading TR's over at TGR.................

Very strange.
- Wichita Kansa (which hasn't a pimple to call a hill) has a snow forecast for 4-8"
- Races scheduled for Dec. 9-10 in Val d’Isere, France, and St. Moritz, Switzerland, were canceled because of the lack of snow

That's it. For the sake of skiing we must all give up vehicles greater than four cylinders, setback our thermostats to 55F and reinstantiate the ski trains. We're ruining our own party...

We got to have a plan for next year, I tell you. We got to have a plan. I got it, first we build one of these. . Then we take that to run a huge heat transfer system to cool down the earth's air and transfer the heat into the ground somewhere in North Africa where it belongs. Yeah that will work. Or we all buy a Toyota Prius. :snow:

November 30th, 2006...
Wore shorts and short sleeve shirt to work in northern Vermont. Other people at work are wearing flipflops and such. This just isn't right. :uzi: :flame: :uzi:

Can't wait till tomorrow night when winter may or may not decide to finally come. My guess is that we sill have 3.5 inches of rain and a slight dusting of snow that will get melted when it warms up to 50 degrees again next week.
