So, the good news is, Building 19 in Nashua on Sat actually had some really decent gear mixed in with a bunch of crap gear. Got my sons 2 new helmets for like 20 bucks each. But that's not what makes me annoyed with myself.

So we're searching thru these bins of off year skis all marked down to 99$. Rossi rebels, B2's, all sorts of Atomics.. And I come across a pair of Line Darkstar twin tips. And I'm sitting here thinking to myself..

.oO ( I want these, I REALLY want these. But Stephs gonna KILL me for coming home with *3* pairs of skis, 3 new helmets)

etc..etc.. So I put it back, sigh, and say 'maybe next year'.

So of course, I get home, tell her the story, and she demands I go back and get them. She even transfers the cash from her spending money account to my ski.... Umm, err.. 'spending' money account.

So I rush back, and guess whats been caught up by someone..

Oh well..

Naw, I'm pretty sure it was the Nashua store only. Looked like Building 19 got a bunch of stuff from Ken Jones in Nashua.

LOL! Ahh, but sometimes, one has to strategically select the instances where the begging tactic can be used effectively. :-D

Yes, we must always choose which battles to fight and which to forfeit. Except sometimes we stumble into a battle without any knowledge of its possibility.

Got my daughter a two piece skiing outfit at the Albay Snow Expo (jacket normally $175 for $50 Pants normally $2?? for $60. Must not have sold because it was white with pinstripes (looks like there should be a big 2 on the back and Jeter on the shoulders). We get home and the wifey is aghast that I bought a fourteen year old a WHITE outfit. Don't I know how dirty it will get yadda yadda yadda. God looks out for fools, drunks and Sailors and in my case three times as well. The outfit is machine washable (No I did not look at the label before we bought it) so I'm forgiven.
