This YT channel gets little respect on AZ but I can’t resist posting this in the Sugarbush thread. Don’t know who could rip these lines properly but it sure isn’t this group.

Oh God. He's back! And earning more "dullarz"! I wonder how many people this weekend will get hurt trying to hack some of the terrain that he shows in his videos.

Yeah that video pissed me off, but I'm glad they had the decency to redact the entrance to poop chute (although it wouldn't take a genius to figure out where the entrance was from the footage beforehand). Saw it last night, skipped through because I did not care to see their skiing, although looking back it's pretty painful. They are literally running into trees. Can't even link two turns. Poop chute is brushy but not that bad. I mean, just look at their stance on some of the clips on normal trails/traverses. They are clearly not comfortable enough on skis.

i don't care about the church because it's a lost cause at this point lol. although, it does suck that it got ruined as i do have some good memories of it.

@Hawk Greg was a ski patroller who died of cancer right? Or just a local maybe? Tryna brush up on the lore.
Greg might have patroled but when I knew him he was always free skiing. I used to run into him in all kinds of way off the beaten track places or at the slidebrook bus with his young son. Yes cancer did him in. He was a really great guy and was well liked in the ski community. He built one of the longest running ski houses in the valley and hosted the BLT party every year with the Detonators.

Was thinking about the YT video posted above. I actually appreciate the effort. It shows areas that I know about, but am very unlikely to ski so its a good way to view them. Are those guys great skiers? Not really, but I don't care. While I'd love to see those runs being ripped by some pro skier, these videos make it a bit more relatable. I'm never gonna be the guy who hucks cliffs and makes effortless turns through tight glades. But, I could easily be the guy who comes to a stop next to a tree and falls over.

I have downgraded my 2024-2025 S-Bush Operations grade of a C- after the lack of opening Slide Brook so far, the closure of Valley House on Sunday for "Maintenance" which is another word for "repair of a broken lift" and numerous other extended lift stoppages unrelated to wind over the busy holiday weekend/week so far...to a D- but still room this season to make improvements. Come on Sugarbush - Do Better

He could’ve been right there behind them 😂 he can’t link more than three turns in a row either. Its crazy how he posts on Facebook and everyone is telling him how great he is at skiing…just shows you the average skill level of people
did you know he has 12k followers on instagram?? people just eat that content up. convinced i could get at least 5k followers after a season of posting like that.
