Looking at the Gate House cam, I have a suspicion they're going to delay it until they can make more snow at lower elevations... (I'd love to be wrong though and there be enough snow out of view of the cams to work with and use to open)

Surely you know that early season skiers tend to be those beginner/low intermediate types who'd find the GH pod to be the perfect opener for the year. SB team has their finger on the pulse!Hah...I wish there was a better cam angle that showed more of GH. Happy to be wrong. After Stratton delayed their opening, I really was thinking SB would push back as well. Still can't say I find the prospect of Pushover being your opening terrain exciting too many people compared to what other places are able to offer on opening day...
