Have eaten there several times. The food is great!anyone know anything about the new-ish madbush falls lodging/restaurant situation? looks pretty nice
It was fun, repeat at North tomorrow!Well they opened all the terrain at Bravo including Domino and lower birdland except for downspout. I bet some of that is fun.
What do you think the chances are that they open HG tomorrow or CR on Saturday? It was fun, repeat at North tomorrow!
They are probably getting it ready for the season.New to this site, just stumbled across it trying to find more details on HG. Lots of great detail posted on the thread here, excited to join.
Saw a few SB maintenance trucks and snowmobiles parked on German Flats and Slide Brook road today. Pulled over on my way home from South to see what the commotion was. Lift ops was keeping tight lips, but seems they may open Slide Brook this weekend.
Skinned up last weekend with some pals at night and skied a few sections. Coverage was surprisingly great. Hopefully a spinning lift doesn’t give the secret away.

You're gonna make out well- Right now, US dollar = $1.43 Canadian. End the day with Kill The Banker. Give yourself a bit if time tho. longest 5000' vert I think I ever skied.i've already gamed out the options for just about every ski worthy airport.
flights are very expensive. cheapest options are basically to fly to LAX or SFO and then get to mammoth or tahoe.
but between flights, lodging, cars, its $2000+ minimum to just ski 4 days 12/27-30. i also dont like a rushed western trip. if i didnt need to spend actual xmas with my fiance id be considering a proper 10 day trip
all good. will take what the east gives me. i will be in banff/revelstoke for 12 consecutive ski days at the height of the season
good food, cold atmosphere unless you like gray, black, and steel.anyone know anything about the new-ish madbush falls lodging/restaurant situation? looks pretty nice
That’s where I worked. Bob Verge (sp) was the Manager.Braintree
They should have a Rob Roy special at the bar!Zip/RR is open
Season can begin
Agree on atmosphere and would add very loud. Food was ok.good food, cold atmosphere unless you like gray, black, and steel.
Bottom terminal definitely moved uphill. I would guess ~75'Stopped to look at the new rig. We didn’t think the loading area moved much at all.
Cool. Madbush for Sunday to Tuesday was only $40 more than my WRJ shitholes. Looks like a decent new hotel room very close to SB, with decent enough on site food. Lookin forward to this next 10 days of mostly skiing
Is this Jonny?Food is great, bar is cool (but bit small) with good drinks! good location halfway between the mountain and downtown waitsfield and all the rooms are nicely refurbed as they basically gutted it down to the studs. They even have these standalone saunas (https://www.madbushfalls.com/savu-saunas) you can reserve if that's your speed...place has been a great addition to the valley
no sir, just someone who appreciates a good spot to grab dinner and few beers...been a tough few years with places mostly going (rather than coming)Is this Jonny?
