its a little bit of back and forth, but i do the 4-6 hours in each direction every friday/sunday. i'm very used to it, so doing it in between a 3 day trip and a 5 day trip during 2 weeks off of work is easy peezy. getting up to sugarloaf is a fucking bitch. so i do it when i have time. like now. and she's working all week except for xmas day. sucks to be her!

LOL...Mr "Snowology" made a post on Facebook stating that opening so much terrain on thin cover is out of character for Sugarbush and they're just doing this to make up for the slow start. Clearly he is not at all familiar with how quickly they always drop ropes.

Hopefully you have a great stereo in your car. That certainly makes the time go by quicker

Haven't been on Exterminator in a while...thought they took snowmaking hydrants out. Apparently not
I think that view is looking down towards Lower Exterminator and Northstar, the latter still has snowmaking.

If we're talking about my photo...Exterminator still has hydrants about 1/2 way down (still Ext and not Lower Ext as you're above Way Back at that point). My understanding is the hydrants or pipes feeding the hydrants aren't connected though.

PS - I feel like we have this discussion every year about Ext still having hydrants lol

Are you skinning up tonight so you can wait in line to be 1st? If you are first, they should give you a hat with a breakfast sandwich!

Remember when they strung a hose thru what I call 'Bravo Woods' from Elbow to blow headwall? Thx Win, where are your ideas stored now?

Not hose there are lateral pipes through there that you jump from the elbow line so they could touch up the rocks on Bravo.

Yes Exterminator is all there just disconnected. There was a snowmaking injury a while back and someone made the call to not make snow there again. Odd considering how much more treacherous Upper FIS is.
