My last day of the season at Hunter flying around with DMC, took a spill and seperated my shoulder, for the 20th time in about 10 years. Sucked because I only got in 3 hours that day and we where about to head to the west side. Survived a whole season skiing some pretty hairy stuff out west and fall on a flat over here. Oh well. Popped it back in 20 minutes later.

I broke my two-month-old board on my last afternoon on Blackcomb Mountain when I went over a small cliff drop and landed on bare rocks. It was irritating to lose it on the last day, but it was an epic day in an epic week so I couldn't be too upset. Also, my sweetie found a deal on an even better board on eBay, so it turned out OK.

Some nitwit knocked me over approaching the quad line at Sugarloaf, but I wasn't hurt.

It rained several days I was out, and other days were icy and/or windy.

All in all I guess I have nothing to complain about.

What’s the worse thing (ski related) that happened to you this season?

I moved out of Colorado, missed an almost record season in Steamboat (over 400 inches). I can see the potential here, but what a bad season for a first one back. Also my first season in twelve years without a season pass. Not only the skiing but I now make less money, get outside less, commute more, and living expenses haven't changed much. Car insurance and groceries are the only bills that have gone down.

Slid into the woods on my hip doin' mach 2. Snapped a 4" (dead) maple with my thigh bone. Walked funny for a month but was skiin' within a week. That one's from the "Coulda been Worse" Department.

Ouch!! Sounds like Bob R's fall opening night at Pat's Peak.......;-)

Glad you walked away from that one......

Worst thing happened this season was that my son had his appendix removed,
one week before the planned February vacation trip to Killington:-( At least they
were nice enough to give us full credit valid for a year although it was past the
no refund dead line
