Actually those big lattice framework like towers that trams use wouldn't be susceptable to this type of incident, since there isn't really any hollow tubes to get filled with water and become a giant freeze pop!

Dat be true... but I look at the tram base & the hotel, & think I sure hope the tram is better maintained! Not to knock Jay (or to start a thread drift), but I love how when there's a snowstorm & you're staying in the hotel you can wake up to your very own snowdrift by the sliding door in your room!
