lol...the mtn was closed the next two days....pico had the lower chair running then we hiked up by the outpost chair on friday....

lol...the mtn was closed the next two days....pico had the lower chair running then we hiked up by the outpost chair on friday....

The mountain was open....I was skiing. A bunch of stuff on windhold, but it was open. :razz: Best time ever to stay at Sunrise...stuff went on windhold midday and I got to ski the untracked home on South Ridge. Repeated the same thing the next day actually. I seem to recall the K-1 and Snowdon lifts being the only things running most of the time, and all the smart people ducking the rope to get to the powder on Skye from Launch Pad.

That was one of the best skiing days I ever had in Vermont. My son and I rocked Kton. IIRC, they were only calling for 8-12 but the storm hit just right, it was some of the lightest snow I ever skied in the east.

Yep I was at the k for that V-Day dump....I remember the following day the gondi and SS lift were on windhold...Me and JP and 2 guys we just met hiked thru the woods and hit waist deep on the side of SS....ski nazis at the bottom pinched the 2 guys for poaching but me and JP got away
