I like this thread. It brings up the age-old conundrum. Does a man chase a woman until she catches him? This is my take on it, we man are all superficial. We try to get the best piece of tail we can regardless of compatibility. Once said tail is acquired many (not all) of us want to keep it so no other superficial male will get it, so we marry. Once married the lack of compatibility becomes an issue and half the time leads to divorce and the cycle starts over.
I think for some man playing the ball and chain martyr is a way of bonding with others of their ilk. They annoy me too.
My wife doesn’t ski much, but she’s fine with me doin it so we’re good.
Once a couple makes the decision to have kids, the kid’s have to come first of course. There’s a big difference in saying I can’t ski this weekend because of family responsibilities and bitching about it. I think most of the father’s of young kids in AZ are just saying the way it is, not bitching, and when their kids are old enough will bring them skiing. Problem solved.
