If we get too many pow days in the east, I am going to end up bankrupt, jobless, separated and burn out my skis in one season.

I have already skied more days that in an entire certain season in a "bad year."

On the upside, maybe it will bring out more ski and boarders to the sport. Especially if we keep moderating temps.

I hear ya Billski, i already have more days than last year, fortunately the boss is understanding in the winter time about days off(I'm a boat mechanic), but I am definitely going borke, hard to afford more than one day a week for me and the girlfriend(she is as excited as me about this weather), and that's if we bring our own lunch etc...guess she's just gonna have to stay home more often, now to figure out how to get the skis in the car without her noticing.....

OK, so which one of this is the bad part?

I took my 10 yr old up to bretton woods for two days, second day they got 6-8 inches from the night before. She had a blast all day, my concern is if she becomes a ski bum or marries one... who's going take care of me when I go senile.

I have spent more time in the car this season so far than ever before driving to Maine and back. It's all good the skiing at Sunday River/Saddleback has been outstanding since Thanksgiving.

I've driven nearly 5000 miles in six weeks time.:-o

Forget the skiing, the driving may kill me.

You know it......just got my $600.00 gasoline credit card bill for December - and I live (6) miles from work...............ouch! Not enough to kill me however, the skiing has been priceless!

Pow days make it hard to do anything but ski/ride. It's so hard going back to work after a pow day.
