Not happening. LOL

But I presume you'd just get a ticket anyway, because regardless of when you got there your plate wouldnt be in their system.
Im talking about these next few weeks when they cut the existing parking spaces in half.
Going from 1800 to 900.
Funny how this garage will have the same amount of spaces. While the lot does look like a missile testing site..it does work just fine...just doesnt make them any money.
Maybe just another reason to keep working for them...i can park for free in employee lot.
My wife likes the place...I could do without it.

What do you mean by, "grandfathered in", they arent selling them anymore?
Essentially no. They have a limited number that they sell annually, and basically everyone who has one, is asked if they plan on renewing the following season, and then renews each year. While they will sell daily parking passes to the lots that the prefered pass holders typically use (they can actually use any lot they want but most often just park in the "premium lots" closest to the base lodges) the number of actual seasonal parking passes is kept to a certain number so as to greatly reduce the "risk" that on all but the busiest of days, that someone with an annual parking pass will find a spot if they get there by a reasonable time in the morning as I understand it.

Seems to work pretty well as in the 6 or 7 years my wife and I have had a parking pass (it's limited to just 1 license plate) the only time there hasn't been a spot available was on a MLK Saturday when my wife arrived up at our condo late morning and when she went to head to the mountain around 11:30 all the spaces were full, so she just drive back to our condo and took the shuttle bus our condo association contracts to provide service on weekends and Holiday weeks from Thanksgiving through the 1st weekend in April

And dont forget, it will allow the other lots to now be.... MOAR hotels.

It will consolidate all 1,840 parking spots and clear the upper lots for redevelopment

And I fail to understand how replacing a 32 year old CTEC will create "more traffic", but building new hotels doesnt.
