The only good thing(s) about this weather is that the drought that we are having in New Jersey/New York and Connecticut has eased up quite a bit.

If it is going to stay warm for a while longer, I may go kayaking/rafting again next weekend as a friend of mine has invited me to raft the Housatonic with him next weekend. Due to the drought, I have not been on my home river in 15 months, now there is too much water.

I am starting to think that the west will have the cold winter and not the east  Alot of people are praying for a warm winter because of the high fuel prices, skiers/boarders are not included in that group

personally I dont think any of these things matter, like hurricanes, snow in artic, weather out west. There are so many variables that the odds are that there are going to about the same pointing to a good winter as there are pointing to a bad winter. So pretty much we have no idea what will happen
