I'll admit, I spent years with the same lame jacket. When I finally replaced it with something contemporary, I fell in love with all the great fabrics and features........
Since then I've become a jacket slut. I can't go by a rack without trying a few on. I can keep from buying all of them simply because my wallet won't stand for it, but I Love awesome ski jackets!

My jacket sluttiness is followed closely by my passion for new ski technology. I love to change up my ski quiver as new stuff comes out. But then, you already knew that about me. ;)

What is it that gets your juices flowing?

Picked up a nice Killy ski jacket for my wife at Marshalls. Regular price was $500, they had it for $149. For me, it's a nice powder day. Skis and clothes are just like a glass and straw, powder is the juice.

You're right! I quiver when I see it snow. When the snow is fluffy, I get really excited!!!

My jacket quiver is fairly minimal.
Spring (isis)
Shell (Arcteryx and Marmot)
Everyday ski jacket(Killtec)
Down Brutal day jacket(SOS down)

See^^^ not too excessive.

That could be another weakness of mine if I were to give into it. So far, it doesn't have a hold of me! ;)

The problem with gloves is the ultimate excuse... I forget them, at least once a year. Hell, my cats end up batting them all around the house. I call them my "enablers". :-D And with Jean-Luc being about 14, he ends up forgetting his, *Caching!* another pair.

I just picked up a pair of Hestra's........Nice!

Ha! See, Jackets are NOTHING compared to gloves. :-D

I looked at Hestra's for some 'lobster claw' mittons for those ubah cold days. In the end I got a pair of Marmots, loved them ever since.

They're definatly ferari grade gloves, tho. :-D
