I'm sure they will open it for the event, but I don't think that lodge has been in operation for several years.

This is good news, putting the east back on the map. Much easier to hold these events than downhill and those requiring long runs. Last time at WV high school national girls. Many brought their dogs.
The snow was too warm, butt no one seemed to care.

Anyone go last year ? Thinking about checking it out next weekend.

I went last year to the event at Deer Valley, I highly recommend attending if you like mogul skiing, which, I imagine most people who are advanced/expert skiers on this board do. It's one thing to see it on TV, but to see the best skiers in the world ripping zipper lines in person is amazing. The aerial tricks are just a bonus to that IMO.

And if anyone happens to be in Park City in February, the annual Deer Valley moguls event is the only one on the World Cup tour that takes place at night, which just adds a whole additional layer of coolness to it with a party-like atmosphere.
