Well they're still working on my truck in Rutland so I think at this point I'm not getting out today. I'll be out tomorrow morning though as long as there are no more surprises.

Snow at lp is way better than mt Ellen, it's pretty sketchy over here. Earlier I found some fluffy stashes on the sides of trails over at lp but none of that here. Here is more wet and heavy spring type conditions almost

It's getting super icy here. Just did tumbler and while treacherous with a large amount of ice and rocks was still a blast.

Stratton was mobbed today!! The Gondola, AMEX and URSA (the 3 lifts that I needed to access North American where my kids race was on) were basically full, or at least 75-80% full queue lanes all day.

And while the 3-4" of snow that fell overnight put some soft stuff on top, as the day went on it got skied off to the bulletproof base that's underneath in places

Good to see a big crowd though, as much as it made the liftlines a PITA, the industry needs as many busy weekend days as possible the rest of the year to slow the bleeding that this season has been!!!

loon was awesome today. 5" at 8 AM and still snowing lightly. glades were all closed but i ducked ropes on each of them and all skied pretty good, just needed to be cautious. triple trouble was closed for no good reason and was skiing deep all day long, took like 4 laps. never waited on line for more than 5 minutes. i expected the WORST and got the BEST. really unexpected great day today. full trip report is up with some pics.

Crotched last night was a mixed bag. Meteor was beautiful grippy snow. Other trails had large ice patches. And I mean ice, not frozen granular.

Ragged was excellent today. It started getting sticky in the afternoon. Was 53 degrees and sunny when I left at 3pm. There was no ice to be found and surface was soft all day. It was a total zoo by Ragged standards. There were even lift lines for about 45 minutes (pics attached). Not a problem getting a table though.

Overall a fun day at sugarbush. Conditions were not the best but after doing some exploring found some good stuff. They definitely need a big storm

id suspect its snow >2000 feet, especially all the way up at jay, and snow level will drop lower overnight. they reported a lot of dropped ropes today. i'm stuck down at loon anyway on account of the skis at the shop.
