I started at the age of 3 at Mt. Sunapee. Now at 21, almost 22, I'm still skiing Sunapee but I have definitely broadened my horizons a little bit as I now get to ski more due to college and a car. Before the age of 16 Sunapee was the only place I went.

I was 3. I don't really remember the first time per se....however, my brother (4 years my senior) tells me that I loved it the instant I was on skis.

Skiing has always been a part of my life as far back as I can remember. Having a father that was born in Europe, meant he never really played baseball with me, (he never really got baseball) but did wonders for my skiing. :)

I was 5, at Tahoe Donner ski bowl. I remember how frightened I was of the huge hill from the top of the rope tow. I never thought I would be able to learn downhill and preferred to learn cross country. It was untill I was 11 on a ski trip with my father's partner who had 2 daughters that were 9 and 10 and very good skiers and encouraged me to push myself to get better.

21. I was never athletically gifted; I needed to take PE for college, so I decided to learn skills on the cheap I couldn't afford otherwise - skiing and skating. Lucky for me, skiing was a natural for me. I started following Phil and Steve Mahre shortly thereafter.

I started at thre young age of 4 on Belleayre Mtn where i still have a small "in the middle of the woods" little ol' house...skied the shit out of belleayre and plattekill and highmount and bobcat for years with the parents til i was old enough to drive and go off on my own. My husband started at 22 with me...my son started at3 at Killington and my daughter was 2...they are 12 and 7 now and can easily keep up with us.

i never heard of bobcat until recently and sadly i dont think i will ever get to go there.
