Sunday river is my home mountain and my favorites are not on the map. There are so many great trails, i usally like the uncrowded ones with lots of snow. If all the trails were "perfect" I would spend all my time on 3-mile trail. You didn't really think i would give out my "secrets" did you? Okay since they aren't really secret trails Shockwave, Wizard's Gulch, Agony, Airglow and Caramba are favorites. Best bet is hit the trails that they blew snow on the night before.

Whiteface - Upper Cloudspin. Until that's skiable, probably Essex or the Mackenzie glades. Or upper Mackenzie. what do you say HPD?

Upper Cloudspin for sure, Empire, Cloudspliter Glades(Ravens), Upper Mac. I like lower Skyward alot when it's bumped up.

Master Magician to Lower Broomstick to Lucifer.

Unfortunately, Master takes a beating from the wind. Slide of Hans hold snow better and is quite a bit of fun, although rather short.

Unless the snow is just right I often find the CS Glades to be a bit too much. But every year I get better so I'm lookin' forward to getting in there this year. I was in there on a weekday last year after about ten inches fell and they were a blast. Tried 'em again the very next weekend and got spanked! I too love upper Mac and Lower Sky. Empire is like that hottie in high school that you could never date; It looks soooo nice but it's rarely open.  They better start blowin' snow soon. Sure was cold enough up here last night.
