You've never been to smuggs?

You gotta hit brewskis when you're there. Local hangout.

And the woods of mansfield was probably the best time I ever had.

Haven't made it to the woods of smuggs yet though

My list

MRG
Loaf

pretty much have been everywhere else

WAIT

Burke

OK, Pico...no burning desire....if they ever open the link....

Wildcat...I forgot wildcat...

But as we all know (and where's that link) wildcat sucks...even though it's set in a national forest and looks beautiful.

Can we search this site?

Pay no attention to the naysayers...

Wildcat is a kickass little mountian..

Also plan to revisit Mohawk this season after a 9 year hiatus. It's only 25 minutes away after all...

I'll swing over there with you some weeknight if you want. We ussually try to get a few guys from work to go a few times a year. They have a special on Monday night all year long and its never been even remotely busy when I've gone at night. Actually I think I only made it over there once last year... Fun times after work though. :)

don't know where you heard that, or if you're being facetious. Wildcat is probably the best lift-served ski area in the Mount Washington Valley, although some may argue Cannon (if it's considered part of the Valley).

Deal. How do you like it compared to Sundown?

ah, that's right, I remember now. I happened to be that same weekend and didn't think it was as bad as it was made out to be, so I just kept quiet rather than argue.

that's fine, more Wildcat for the rest of us.

I think Sundown skis 'bigger' than Mohawk even though Mohawk claims to have a few feet more vert. The only steep parts are pretty short too. Probably the best part is no crowds at night, their after-school program doesn't seem to be nearly as big as Sundown's. I like skiing there, its got to say something that I spent money to ski there last year when I could go to Sundown for free... Even if it was only $18 ;)
