nice unlocked hip.....you race?
No never have raced. Thats all from the skiers edge  .

OK, I've been skiing since I was 8 and I never heard of an unlocked hip or the skier's edge, so tell, tell - please........

I probably need to unlock my hip and if the skier's edge can get me in shape by Dec, I'm all for it.

Oh, and in the summer I have always played tennis. It's great for your legs and butt and also really good for your footwork.

Even if it isn't the closest loafer89, you have to admit...(WW)kayaking's upper body offensive intent, followed by the unwinding of the legs/kayak with balance isn't far off. The blading is great and I am thinking more and more about that Skier's Edge.

I use my Skier's Edge machine to stay in shape. I do 3000 "turns" during each workout session. I average about 100 to 105 turns per minute. Each cycle from center to extreme left to extreme right and back to center is TWO turns. If you are familiar with it or are using one I strongly recommend you spend the extra $$$$ and add the "Slope Simulator." I really believe that using this added feature has done absolute wonders for my balance, not to mention how much edge I can now generate with both my skiis on each turn. I am at the point where I can do as many as 100 turns without the poles! Check it out on their website. ChileMass..I bought my Edge Machine at a ski show at the end of October last year. I worked out on it for a little over three weeks. On our first day of last season (think it was right after Thanksgiving) my buddy and I hit Killington and from the very first run I felt as good as I did on the last day of the previous season. I skied about 5 hours that day and didn't even feel any heat in my quads! The balance improvement was incredible. I felt so amazingly centered over my bindings and you know how that reduces fatigue. The down side of all of this is that the damn thing is pricey. Try E-Bay or some other used equipment source. Like any exercise gear, it is only good if you use it.
