As we get closer to a new ski season it's hard not to think about all the fun experience during the 07-08 ski season. If you have a short minute..tell us about your best ski day of 07-08?? I need to think for a little bit before I post my best day..

I had some very nice powder days but I basically live for spring skiing so I'll go with Killington closing weekend. I took Friday off and had 3 bluebird 50 degree corn snow days. I'd lost about 60 pounds since the previous August and skied over 50 days so I was in better shape than I'd been in for a number of years. Nothing like skiing in a long sleeve polo shirt & sunglasses with friends in perfect spring mush bumps with the car parked slopeside with a BBQ grill and a full bar setup.

Nicely done, Geoff.

I had quite a few "best day" experiences at each hill I skied. WF during the Empire State Winter Games saw some of the best conditions I skied there in the past 5 years. JH had a 4+foot dump the last 2 days we skied there, amazing. Even Blue had some stellar days midweek when they dolled up Challenge and Razor for filming the Ski Patrol documentary. And like Geoff said about spring mush, 4 days at WF and the Slides in spring conditions was a blast. I just feel lucky every day I can get out and ski.

Either Black or Mt. Abram after 8-12 inch dumps. Both have some very fun terrain and with minimal competition for powder are fantastic.

My 12 yo son and I skied Saddleback on New Years Eve 2007. At our motel in Rangeley there was at least 6 inches of flufy powder on the car when me got up and more on the mountain and it didn't stop all day.

We were at Sugarloaf on the 17th. Day after we put our family dog down. Truly an amazing day, 70 degrees, backside snowfields, bikinis at Bullwinkles and ice cream on the way back to SR. My favorite day of the season.

Feb 28th at Squaw Valley. 60 degrees and sunny, no crowds, 100 open, and 4 feet in the previous seven days. My avatar is from a few days earlier during a 2 foot storm at Heavenly. That didn't suck either.

I had to many awesome days to single out just one. They were awesome for various reasons such as conditions, weather, friends, and locations.

Here is a TR from my 2nd ski day of my last Jackson Hole trip back in January..it might not have been my best ski day of the season..but it was way up there...

Wow..just Wow..today...January 21st..day 2 of my ski trip was totally awesome. If yesterday was epic..then today was mepic(mad epic)..lol.

I got on the 8:00AM bus and had 2nd chair on Teewinot and 1st chair on Apres Vous. 10% of the terrain was fresh cord and 90% of the terrain was fresh untracked powder..from ankle deep to knee deep..and so so so light..definitely some faceshots. Then I skied down to the Gondola and hit up some woods. Then the Thunder chair to Laramie bowl which was cut up powder with some untracked on the sides but it's a really popular route. Then Sublette to 10 sleep bowl to the Cirque...on this run I had the deepest..longest stretch of untracked of my trip at around 10:45AM....wow..so steezy...30-40 turns of knee deep freshies. Then across to some woods above the Casper Lodge to an early lunch at the Casper Lodge

I had Nachos which consisted of three color chips..a mound of melted cheese..chicken..onion..salsa..and Guacamole. I also had an Orange gatorade..on ice..steezy...for $13.something total. I also bought some sunscreen and applied a liberal amount to my face and neck..The sun was out and visibility was clear. After lunch I skied alot. From Apres Vous woods to Rendevous bowl..another 10-sleep to cirque lap...some more woods by the gondoobie..and some lower mountain powder in Lander Bowl..except for the crowded groomers..it was all good and alot less people out than yesterday. It may be Doc Martins BDAY but apparently the kids in J-hole go to school. Around 2:20PM I boarded the gondola for one final ride and dily-dallied my way down the mountain..Some woods next to Gros Verte..some woods near Casper lodge...then the south pass traverse to the Apres Vous area and then to the base. I arrived at the base at 2:40PM..and I didn't feel like waiting 20 minutes for the free hotel shuttle so I paid $3 and took the town bus. In total I skied over 30k of vert and 16 runs...1 run on East Ridge, 3 on Sublette, 3 on Thunder, 5 on the gondola, 1 on the Casper, and 3 on the Apres Vous. I did a ton of exploring today for sure and found some new nooks and crannies that I can revisit tomorrow with my buddy Tom. Tom should arrive in town around 5-6:00PM so I'm trying to hold off beer drinking until then. I'm thinking we'll hit Grand Targhee Wednesday...What a great trip so far and I still have 6 more ski days..Life is Good..

I'd have to say after the St. Patty's day storm at Killington.

Every holiday weekend it seemed like there was a storm.

Too many "Epic" days last year, but the one that stands out was at SnowBasin, my buddy and I had a 'private guide" all day to take us all over. We went to the front of the line for every gondola ride, we had a private car for every ride and were taken to places that no way would we have found ourselves. We were treated like VIPS at lunch and given a full tour of all the facilities.
