The latest I've skied was last season, April 20, 2007. That was close to a month later than the year before when I finished on March 24. This year I'm going to push it as long as possible. Hope to get some lift serviced in at Sugarbush in May. I also plan to hike Hunter in early to mid-May. I started on November 12 this season so if I can get into May, than I will have skied for almost 6 months which is good for me.

May 12, 2001 at Killington. Also skied October 28th that year. That's lift served in eight months out of the year - in New England. I think I've done that a couple times when K was always opening in October if possible and always skiing into May.............
I will ski the final weekend lifts are turning, wherever that may be. Don't know if I will earn my first turns ever after that or not. A few moves in the family this year that will be requiring mucho landscaping...............

Skied Las Lenas in August a while back..
I guess it's either the end of the season or beginning... Depends on how you look at it...

Otherwise.. I've skied KMart a few times with lifts running in June..

I have skied every month of the year, so when exactly does the season start or end when that is the case. In 1997 I skied every month except July, I hope one year to ski every month consecutively with my son. So far he has skied from as early as November 9th in 2003 to as late as June 9th in 2006.

I've skied in July in Austria on the Stubai glacier.

Latest in the east I think was May 15 at Sugarloaf. Don't remember the year, but it was mid 90's at some point.

And I'm done for the season this year due to injury.

I guess it depends on the age of the snow... ;)

2004/05 I skied October 23 through May 13 (with boot deep powder both of those days).

I'm optimistic for this year. I'll be at Mt. Snow this weekend and then hope to sneak a few sunny days in later in April.

That's two hikers headed to Hunter in May/June. Why Hunter? Is there something about the place that makes it a better hike in late spring than any other mountain?

My latest ski date was April 20, last year, the Slides at Whiteface.

This season, I'm optimistic for May 4th and hopefully of ay 11th

Historically

East: Early June one year at Killington

West: July 4th at A-Basin for lift served and August 17th for earned turns above Loveland

They make a crapload of snow that usually lasts on Hellgate into June as I understand it. Pretty much the best option for skiable snow close to SNE. This pic is from 5/2/07:

Lots of continuous stretches in there, particularly Hellgate > Upper Crossover or Hellgate > Broadway. Hope it looks the same this spring.

Lift served East: June 5th, 1997 - 2 days before I got married

Lift Served overall: July 8th 1988 - Thank you Mt Hood Summer Ski camp for that one - even scored a powder day on July 3rd of that year - a definate cool thing!

At the moment, I have no plans to ski in June or July though that might change. I'm already booked for Chile in August.

I'm in Colorado the first week of May so I'll probably try to grab a day at A-Basin.

I'll ski Kmart until they close. After that, I'll ski whoever is standing on weekends into May. I have lots of places to stay at Sunday River and Sugarbush is only an hour from my Kmart place. If the Loaf is the last standing, I'll wander up there but probably drive up on Saturday early morning and just stay over one night.
