The longest ski season in the East for me was at Killington from October 1st 1993 to June 5th, 1994.

I have skied alot out west late into the summer with skiing at Arapahoe Basin in April, May and June and at Timberline Lodge in July, August and September. I've done glacier skiing in July and August in Europe.

This year will be the first time that I ski in May (if it happens) without it being at Killington.

The latest I've ever skied was last year, May 6, 2007, at KMart. I met up with 2knees for a run on closing day & then got 2 more in before they shut it down.

This year, I'm also hoping to ski into May. Since Sugarloaf will be open until May 4 & I haven't been there in 20 years, I'm going to try to ski there. I will stop once the lift served ends. Too much stuff going on at home with my children for earned turns for me.

I don't think i've ever skied past March 31. Until this year i've been a "10 days per year" skier but I'm in the low 20's right now. My goal is to ski in late April. We do the family vacation thing to Florida every April (kids break from school/visit grandpa) and i've always wanted to get 1 day in skiing AFTER returning from FL. Hopefully this is the year.

Latest I skied was Memorial Day Weekend 2001 at Killington.

Plan for this season: simply stated as long as I can. SB is serving up lift served skiing until 4/27 right now IIRC.

April 10, 2005 on a 75 degree closing day at Wachusett. This year, my season will end whenever Mt. Snow's season ends, hopefully April 27.

May 25th I think at Killington. Maybe 5 years ago? I've skied in May at Killington 2 other times. I also skied in August in Chile for a week.

April 20, 2007.....one of the best days ever at Killington

This year, likely April 19 at Stowe, but it might depend how long Wildcat can keep going since we have a house up there.

With the deep snow pack this year, who knows how long this season will last in New England.

I thought I heard once that if the mean temperature would be just a few degrees cooler, Tux could keep a patch all year. The Tux Glacier? Wouldn't that be a hoot?

It's not a huge stretch since there has been skiable snow in Tucks in August..I'm hoping for a return of a mini-iceage..

Google the Summer of 1816...something like that would be epic..

Killington in early June back in the 90's. Tucks in July, it was a big year and it was actually pretty good right through early July. Looks like July turns could happen up there this year from what I hear.

This year I plan on skiing really really late, maybe into a good peice of August in some areas. I need to line up a very cool night followed by a day off while getting up super early to make that work though.
