Freezing rain also isn't much of a problem in terms of groomers. Of course, it makes natural and bump runs freeze solid until either a big snowstorm covers it good or until it melts. But the groomers can chew up the ice layer and practically make it the same thing as manmade snow.. ice crystals.

Sleet isn't bad-- it's just like most of the crap that comes from snow guns if you ask me.
sleet that doesn't melt and is followed by very low temps is kinda like corn snow the next morning

Indeed! A little more like ball bearings but very pleasant to turn in.
