you didn't answer the question...you told us what you don't like, what you like, and what the other people on the lift dread. So, what is it? What's the weakness in your steeze of armor on the hill...everyone's got one.

Apparently I don't keep my hands forward enough and when skiing Nastar..in really icy conditions I sometimes skid on really offset turns which kills my time..the best I can get is a Silver in soft conditions or a bronze in icy conditions. It's frustrating seeing my skiing peers get gold..which makes me want to race less. In gates I feel like I'm on a leash and after a Nastar session..it feels liberating to ski top to bottom runs making like 3 huge turns..or none..

A really high chair lift with no safety bar..................not for me.

Yup..the Blackfoot double at Grand Targhee comes to mind..after a powder run I want to rest my feet up..not hold onto a circa 1960s riblet style double for dear life..lol

Grassi - love your Avatar. Are you good at ballroom dancing, too? (don't ask about my wedding, my mother went to her grave mad at me about that one....)

no ballroom. but one of these days i will post up some picks of me doing some funky yoga postures. supported headstand is always a crowd favorite.

High chairlifts, with or without safety bars and (especially during the spring) the cheeseburger and multi beer lunch break.

I have "small mountain syndrome" that is to say I often carve when skided turns are probably more appropriate. I also suck at park skiing but I don't care about that.

Interesting. What do you mean by that?
