When will Mount Snow Open??

Why doesn't PEAK open wildcat or attitash early? The passes seem like they're enough to justify a nice long season...specifically Wildcat, if they put some money into snowmaking the cat could be a top contender for longest season in the east and close enough to Boston that people might actually go.

Wildcat is working on Lynx right now and will likely be opening up this weekend too

Unfortunately per one of the posts in the Mount Snow Passholders Chatroom, the Station won't be pouring this weekend :-(

My hunch is that in all reality they planned on having the staff start back either next weekend or Thanksgiving Weekend for when the typical full opening is.

Plus, as much as I'd love being up there kicking the season off in proper style, I've got to leave the mountain with my kids by about noon on Saturday to make it back home to CT for a late afternoon party, so I wouldn't of been doing to much "work" in the Station on Saturday anyway

Going to be a good 4 hours of making some turns with me and the kids on Saturday! Can't wait to get back on the hill and kick off the '13-'14 season!
