Damn, NYC Saturday @ 11:20 and your just trying to decide where to go for the weekend?
From all reports, Stowe has received the most natural lately. That's where I'd be if my schedule allowed.
You want hardcore and less lines..Smuggs.
Conditions at Mt. Snow are as good as can be given the lack of snow. Lots of really fast groomed trails...Plummet on the North Face is great right now. Only a couple good bump trails...Fallen Timbers is surprisingly good, troughs not too hard yet. RollerCoaster on the main face is also bumped but a bit firmer (a LOT FIRMER) than TImbers.
I don't imagine there's too much variation in conditions throughout VT this weekend.
imo, for the best natural snow, anything with high elevation in Northern Vermont and Maine.Morning Alpine People!

How were the lines at Snow today? My son is home from college and considering going up tomorrow.
Great day at Bolton today. Snowing all day...probably picked up a couple of inches. Skied with my girls...so couldn't really check out the goods. Looks like they have a ton of fun woods....plus from what I understand there are a few ton more that are out of sight. Cold wind blowing most of the day...so with my girls, we stayed low on the timberline lift a lot. Place was pretty much ski on all day....the lack of lines were really nice and a bit unexpected given that it is President's weekend. We got a table right away at lunch too. The steeper runs had some nice soft snow over a firm base. The lower angled cruisers were quite nice and soft.
Bolton is a really fun place. My brother knows someone who works there, but due to this being a Holiday period, she were unable to help us out. So Liftopia saved us $15 a ticket and they let kids under 6 ski free. (my little one has 3 more years of skiing free there!) My neices ski there frequently and have some deal where they get half off tix.
