Yep. Im going tomorrow actually. I have a Ski Doo MXZ 600. Its better than my old one though, which was an '82 Arctic Cat El Tigre 450.

I like to snowmobile on Mt. Greylock, the trails in Rutland, Leicester, and Douglas. I have also done the trails in Spencer, but I dont really like them, very rocky and undeveloped.

I have an Arctic Cat Z-570. It tops out around 96 MPH which I hit twice last year. I live on the Spencer trail which has great parts and downright horrible parts. The Leicester trails spend too much time on the roads and not enough in the snow. The Rutland trails and everything north of the Prison Camps are great.

Last year, I took a trip to Rangeley, ME. I got 435 miles in the 2 1/2 days I went (199 in one day) with rides to Jackman, Bosebuck, and across Rangeley Lake a few times. Great views of Saddleback and Sugarloaf.

I've already gotten over 110 miles in this year, going back and fourth on the Spencer trail a few times. It sucks that Moose Hill is closed as the loop can't be connected until Sugden freezes. We were the first ones out on the Spencer trail after the December 9th storm. The conditions were fantastic that day.

I'm in a family of snowmobilers pretty much, and we all have Arctic Cats. Mom has an '06 F7 Tony Stewart LTD, stepdad has an '05 F7, uncle has an '04 F7 and '06 Crossfire, and a few friends who also have Arctic Cats.

My college buddy has a place out near Old Forge which has 4 sleds (2 Arctic Cats, 2 Yamahas) and we have a blast going from Piseco Lake to West Canada Creek and all over the area. Last year I saw about 15 deer and a dozen turkeys all standing under some pine trees at the edge of a clearing. Most wildlife I've ever seen in one place. Hit about 70 mph under a full cold moon last February up there. Mighty cold.

The amazing thing is how many of the trails in that area lead to bars, and how sh*tfaced a lot of the sledders are getting at oh, say, 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and then jump back on the sled for a 15-20 mile ride back to camp. Pretty amazing to see how much Genny those folks can put away.

Lots of snow out that way, too. No big hills so the skiing stinks, so might as well snowmobile. The trails are maintained by the local club and when they've just been groomed, it's great. The snowbanks on either side of the trails are 5-6' high most times I've been out there.
