I was originally going to go to the Cat on Sunday, but may go to Butternut if it is open.

They're aiming to stay open until 4/10:

Notice the "weather and skier traffic dependent" however.

Today looks like the best day out of the three so I'm heading up to Butternut this afternoon so I'll let you know how it is. Again, with the Web site stating 4/10, weather and skier traffic dependent, I would think they'll be open to at least Sunday, but who knows after the rain tomorrow. Catamount is closed for the season, unfortunately.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe I'll see you up there.

Thanks I've been too lazy to actually check myself. ;) Please do let us know how the conditions are today. :D

I will be on Salomon 1080's or Salomon snowblades. We will run into each other, I doubt it will be busy. The last time I was there on a Sunday was before Easter and that was the crappy day around here and hardly anybody up there.

I had friends coming over to ski this weekend...with the forcast they are not coming but I am going to their place to watch the FF b-ball games. Some of the dirt roads around here are getting pretty challenging.

Hope the rain doesn't screw up the pond skimming and Reggae Fest this weekend here at the Bush.

If they get what they forecast, I'm not going out. I have to do my taxes and my laundry. I've skied too much to ski in the rain.

I did ski today. And yesterday. And the day before...

Now they're saying it might clear out Sunday. If so, I'll go out, then.

 Might pop over to the lodge for Reggae fest, tho.

According to the ski areas websites in the Berkshires, nothing will be open on Sunday.

I looked in Southern VT at Stratton and Snow. Snow does have a $59 ticket but Stratton still has the full season rates posted. I think I will pass for Sunday.

I decided to check the forecast tonight to decide if we are going to go to Snow on Sunday.

What exactly does the below mean? Is that a "polite" way of saying it is going to rain and there may be a mix or rain or snow?

"Weather: Warm and pleasant temps in the mid 40's. Skies hold precipitation, maybe mixed with snow."

(from Mount Snow's website)
