It's a "Toledo Torch". Nobody ever stole them!

Yep used on road construction sites for yrs -- never saw one that wasn't dented and rusted . We hated those smoky smelly little bastids, they'd screw up your clothes with the smell for a long time . We had many names for them none were complimentary

Boy can't believe People COLLECT these damn things !! Sure as hell wouldn't want one of those stinkpots on MY deck

In the Fifies, when I was a kid we called them "smudge pots" nothing was moRe EntErtaining than on the way home from school to kick those babies around to Get them really Smoking. Some also had wind guards over the wick.

When i was a college kid working construction , whenever we'd get bored we play Sledge Hammer Golf with those things . hell we figured what's another dent or two in the rusty ole bastids :D
