We pay around 25% for just health insurance, no dental or vision and it isn't really all that great. I'm glad I don't have to foot the whole bill though...
What's sad is that when I worked, I only paid $60/month for family medical, full dental, and vision. :( Our copays were small, too. But it wasn't worth me working to put 2 kids in daycare...wouldn't have netted anything at the end of the week.

Through the direct sales company I work for, we get special rates through Avis and discounts through Daimler/Chrysler (supposedly, we can get a vehicle below dealer cost). Whoop-dee-doo.

Not much for official discounts. There are some unofficial once from businesses that are FF owned, mostly the trades, plumbers, masons etc.

I can't complain about the health insurance. We have coalition bargaining. We recently lost a little and went up to paying 13%. Considering alot of the other crap we deal with (like our station is an actively remeadiated Hazardous waste site: "Make like Clinton, don't inhale!") it's the least the town could do for us. Out of context, it sounds unbelievable. When you look at the total package, it's OK.

So Steaze: Your customers are dying to give you the business? (Never heard that one before, I'm sure.)
