I got these for my two children. I'm very pleased with it, and it's about half the price of similar products. I even got it at a 20% discount. The only gripe I have with it is that it's a little bulky to fit in a coat pocket when you aren't using it.

my daughter's process is to drop off the skis @ the rack and put the strap in her bag, which gets left in teh lodge (we day trip mostly and always have a bag). direct to slopes, yes, a problem.

I hear the Hermitage club has ski caddies on staff to cart your quiver along after you and select the most appropriate ski for each trail.

I don't get the point of these. How high-maintenance do you have to be to actually carry your skis to the lift? Personally I boot-up and click-in at the parking lot. I look at the weather the night before so I can go to bed in the appropriate clothing and not have to waste time getting dressed in the morning. I shove raw ramen in my pockets so I don't have to pay for lunch like all those other suckers!

Four years ago, a Sugarbush attendant offered to carry my skis up the stairs as I was unloading in the dropoff lane. I let him do it. Forgot to tip him though.

I must have looked pathetic, it's the only explanation I have. :)

Wait I have seen you in the lodge! And... you did not have Ramen in your hands! You just have to buy beer at least on non-zoomer bar days!

Gotta give them credit for at least getting their boots on the proper feet!

As usual, the TGR thread on this is far funnier and 2 days earlier.

I never even thought htat was possible
.

Ya know, I know a guy who did this last week messing around. I didn't think it was possible either, so I tried it with my marker dukes, putting my heel in the toe piece of the binding, I couldn't even fit the toe of my boot into the heel piece of the binding.....to make this work you'd need to have enough know how to adjust the binding, but not enough to know which way to put your skis on......or.......

use tyrolia bindings. The guy I know who did it has those bindings and saying they are the worst he's ever used.

I guess if you think stuff like this is high humor:

I misread the ad--thought it said Shitaker. After thinking about that for a while, it seemed like a pretty good idea, having someone to take a shit for you, especially on powder mornings when you're in a hurry.
