Hey, Where is the best XC skiing right now within 3 hours of Connecticut? My skis are going to turn into dust here. I need to find some snow.

Lake Placid - Mt van hoevenberg has all their trails open groomed and tracked. But that might be more than three hours from conn.
Hey thanks. The one in New York sounds good. Damn, over 50 inches! If we go, I should bring along a Saint Bernard with some schnopps to dig us out if we get stuck. Driving 5 hours for snow like that doesn't sound bad. We'll see.
Any where on the TUG HILL plateau e.g. Snow Ridge and Carpenter Road XC trails and Whetstone Gulf xc area ( all with lodges) reporting get this 53 inches of pow in last several days and still snowing very hard 3-5 inches /hr today.
