:D Weather permitting, they are going to open next weekend...a resort saying "YES" to their customers instead of no.

I'm so stoked for one more weekend at our little hill...now just have to hope that the weather cooperates!

Glad for you. Seems like a few places are trying for an extra week or two. You may need to change your own poll and use that ticket somewhere else next week.

Did they give you some indication that it was your request that actually swayed them?

Did my one little response sway them? No, probably not.

But did it combined with other requests and the snow conditions? Certainly.

I was implying the latter here...I was not trying to claim credit for this one...

I wrote to them two/three weeks ago and got a, "we don't have enough demand to open" response...so others must have called/written in

So Wachusett staying open an extra weekend this year (until April 10th) doesn't qualify as a southern NE ski area now?

Yes, I did see that

I was referring to other places shutting their doors early (such as Nashoba, etc). I saw Wachusett's schedule after Pats...

Both resorts are responsive to their customers.

Sounds like a lame excuse.

Props to Ms. Trailboss for getting them on a day that she thought would not conflict with skiing. "The season will be pretty much over then, right?"

She bought them in NOVEMBER.

Ms. Trailboss is fine it is you I have the problem with... :D Where are you going to see the Phantom? Areas will still be open the following weekend the 16th&17th. Extend your season. Ski Pats this weekend and use your free one for the 16th or 17th. I'll be at Loon the 16th and the River on the 17 (if they are good there and you want to grab a run. )

Phantom will be here in Boston.

I'm planning on skiing Sugarbush on April 16 and 17th, weather permitting.

I would wait with my freebie, but I don't have much time available and don't want to risk it, considering that this r%^* is killing things now.

You pretty much had been reading my mind
