Wow...makes me wounder if I should ski at all this year. So many broken promises made by ski areas.
Hunter's made no bloated promises..

mmmmm, man-made paid for by tax payers.... The finest snow one can ski/ride.
I'd so be there right now...
I heard they were waiting until they had snow on their trails...man made or otherwise. Seems lazy...I mean, the lifts are already there, just fire them up already!
On RSN's Reel Thrills, Plake had these old "grass skis" which were built for skiing on grass in the summer. It was pretty funny watching him try to ski and he did pretty well until the golf course manager came over and threatened to wrap his golf club around his neck unless he left. Reel Thrills is one my favorite shows, especially like the "crash of the week" segment.
So, it was an erroneous error! There ARE areas opening. Hey, even some want you to come and eat and ride the zip. Yep, happy to drive 2-3 hours for a nice, tasty $8 burger...
Sadly, it's still OK to lick lift towers...
But you still don't want to eat the yellow snow
