What other ski areas get you pumped as you are driving to them?

Damn, just about any ski area looks awsome from afar, even ones I'm not crazy about.

Okemo for 103 is great.
Stowe from just about anywhere with a white capped Mansfield is magnificent.
The combination of the two Sugarbush moutains combined with MRG from RT 89
Pico from 100 going South
Hunter is awsome and scary looking as you're driving up to it
Sugarbush as you're going up the Access Rd to Lincoln
And ofcourse Killington as you turn up the Access Rd.

cannon kicks booty. one of the best from the highway and right up there in the same league with the others mentioned. jay looks pretty good going east on 100 and later turning on to 242, but you never get a big in your face view of the entire mountain coming in on 242. it looks nice from a far though. i have seen some great pics of mansfield from a far.

Greg, did you start this thread solely so can post that Sugarloaf pic, yet again, and make any other picture look lame in comparison? :) (I'd love to get to see that live one day)

I agree with Jay Peak... it is a pretty cool view especially since it is all farmland an no mountains for miles.

Maine!~ The way life should be
although I dont have a picture Shawnee Peak in Bridgton,ME looks real cool as you drive through route 302. At the base there is a large, very scenic lake and you look up at the mountain as it's all lit up for night skiing looks very cool 8)
