IMO IndyPass is probably the best day to ski 6 to 15 days in the Northeast

Epic is probably the best deal to ski more than that particularly of you want to make a Colorado trip at least once a year

Shopping other deals can produce better value for fewer than that
If you dont mind skiing with half the human race and waiting in "epic" lift lines

It's on the list for early 26. Looks like a great spot. I've skied Turkiye before, but that was at Uludag near Bursa. While Istanbul is probably my favorite city in the world, this resort is a short flight away near Cappadoccia.

ETA: My 50th Birthday is in March of the 25-26 Northern Ski season. So I'm planning an epic (in the original sense of the word) Around The World Indy Pass Ski trip for the last half of February. Start in NH, then Rockies-PNW-Japan-Kyrgyzstan-Turkiye-Austria-Quebec-Back to NH. Tentatively looking at 21 Days, all Indy pass resorts in countries without obnoxious visa requirements.

Almost the same amount of lifts as trails???
It’s pretty typical of European ski resorts. Just a couple of long trails down mountain.

Ah just wide open so no actual trails
There’re 30 trails!

The “wide open” space are typically not avi controlled nor patrolled. It’s the equivalent of our “out of bound”.

Just a bit over 1000’. I personally wouldn’t bother. There’re far better resorts in Western Europe.

I’d much rather go to the region in summer instead. (Been once. Barely scratched the surface. But if I go again, I’d bring my mountain bike)

Nice to tag some Indy pass hills, but with that distance covered pick the best places for you, Indy or not.

Two weeks? With that I ternary you won’t ski a day. All your time will be taken up flying and transferring to ski area and back. Either significantly scale it back to where you are going or increase significantly your time allowance

3 weeks. Plan is 2 days skiing in each place then a travel day or two depending on flight timings. That leaves a couple of days for the inevitable delays, cancellations, bail hearings, etc, etc

It's a marathon, but I've done similar routing. Chunkurchak near Bishkek isn't indy, but was chosen for city/airport proximity. If I can work out the logistics, I may decide to drop that stop and add in Morocco instead.

ETA: Easier to sort than I thought

An itinerary which the flight and other transport cost far exceeds the lift ticket of the most expensive resort in each country.

I’m not familiar with many of the resorts. But of the ones in this country, there’re some that are big enough and interesting enough to ski for more than 2 days. The cost of paying for extra days could easily be less than the travel cost of going to far away “free” resorts.

(I do “get” the appeal of travel for travel’s sake. In fact, I use skiing as an excuse to travel to less traveled destinations. But I don’t bother with the Indy as a travel pass. 2 days are too short for some resort and “too long” for others. The latter I mean I wouldn’t bother going at all)

It's probably equally about the skiing and the adventure. Thanks to work, I should only have to pay for the Japan-Bishkek flights. All the other tickets would likely be on miles and the hotels on points. Indy works for the two days in each spot plan.

When I skied in Turkiye years ago, most of the lifts were independently owned and you had to buy tickets for each. With Indy, I know lift tix aren't an issue.
