Same at Bravo, Gatehouse, and HG.

But, it's not the same everywhere.

Change the mazes to funnel two at a time, multiple times if necessary. Obviates the need for staff to manage and keeps the line cutting to a minimum.
Totally agree

What a day. Ellen was phenomenal. Sun, nice temps, GMX being delayed was the only blemish but NRX running made up for it. Lapped it all day. Way better snow then Lincoln yesterday IMO save Castlerock hikes.

ROTDs: Exterminator, wayback woods, bravo, bravinator woods, hammerhead, tumbler, windblown loaded lower FIS

Great weekend

There was one young lady working the line at Brovo who was doing a great job. She was pairing doubles from the same line for people that are clueless to team up with 2 in front of them, she was even making sure the singles lines were alternating.

Hmmmmm…..I don’t know. I’m not seeing Rob Roy/Zip as being a ROTD. That’s a must ski at Mount Ellen. 😉

Skied lincoln. Upper mountain woods really good. Below that was scratchy. Seemed like they were a lot of people there but it was fine during the morning rush and then ski on thereafter.

Agree that line management was an issue at GH and Bravo. No rhyme or reason. Sometimes we’d get skipped over multiple times. Seemed like the lift attendants lost track or were just too worried about matching up pairs of two that they ignored any sequence in letting people go.

Why don’t they just call out “front row” and let all people in the front of their respective lines move forward at once? No need to pair up doubles when there are plenty of people waiting in the singles lines to fill in the gaps. This works at many other mountains and requires no logic whatsoever.

It seems like they had no training And there is no one watching over them. Depending on intelligence level, I literally could train the employees for that job in 5 minutes.

JP, head of lift attendants, is getting lung replacement surgery. Here's his gofundme. https://gofund.me/67b78049
All those kids are bright university students but just need to be shown direction.

Any word on when Ripcord gets snowmaking? Pretty sad under the shiny new lift, and will need capacity for the weekend

Yes we all donated to John's cause. I think I heard that they found a donor. Hope all goes well. He is a good man.

Once they finish Steins and they don't have any other pressing concerns like a fresh coat on some of the beginner terrain or Death spout, I would think it would be next. What else is left? I think just bird land right? I mean Upper Organ grinder is bomb proof also but Ripchord should be done before that.

I forgot how awesome North is when all lifts are running and all the natural snow trails are in play. Barely waited in any lift lines all day and found plenty of good snow. Great weekend between MRG on Saturday and North on Sunday.
Yesterday AND today!! HUGE shout out to Lift Ops as they worked on NorthRidge Thursday thru Saturday and it finally paid off!!
Mt. Ellen skis so much better with NorthRidge!!

Abbey provided a great update on the 11th:

Earlier this week, John received the long-awaited news that he had been matched with a donor. His medical team worked swiftly and after many hours, my mom Siobhan received the news that everything went well and John was now at this next part of this journey–recovery.

It has been a few days since the transplant and it’s a surprise to no one that John has shown incredible mental fortitude and perseverance, making small steps of progress each day.
