What a day. Ellen was phenomenal. Sun, nice temps, GMX being delayed was the only blemish but NRX running made up for it. Lapped it all day. Way better snow then Lincoln yesterday IMO save Castlerock hikes.

ROTDs: Exterminator, wayback woods, bravo, bravinator woods, hammerhead, tumbler, windblown loaded lower FIS

Great weekend

Same at Bravo, Gatehouse, and HG.

But, it's not the same everywhere.

Change the mazes to funnel two at a time, multiple times if necessary. Obviates the need for staff to manage and keeps the line cutting to a minimum.
There was one young lady working the line at Brovo who was doing a great job. She was pairing doubles from the same line for people that are clueless to team up with 2 in front of them, she was even making sure the singles lines were alternating.

Hmmmmm…..I don’t know. I’m not seeing Rob Roy/Zip as being a ROTD. That’s a must ski at Mount Ellen. 😉

Skied lincoln. Upper mountain woods really good. Below that was scratchy. Seemed like they were a lot of people there but it was fine during the morning rush and then ski on thereafter.

Agree that line management was an issue at GH and Bravo. No rhyme or reason. Sometimes we’d get skipped over multiple times. Seemed like the lift attendants lost track or were just too worried about matching up pairs of two that they ignored any sequence in letting people go.

Why don’t they just call out “front row” and let all people in the front of their respective lines move forward at once? No need to pair up doubles when there are plenty of people waiting in the singles lines to fill in the gaps. This works at many other mountains and requires no logic whatsoever.
